Microphone and Audio-Processing Privacy

• Audio: analysed via the Web Audio API on-device; the microphone stream is never connected to speakers and never uploaded, recorded server-side, or shared. Stopping the meter disposes tracks and closes the audio context.
• Permissions: the browser asks for microphone access once per origin; you can revoke it any time in the address-bar site settings. Denying permission only shows the idle “--” display — nothing is captured.
• Storage: theme preference and up to 20 session summaries live in your browser's localStorage only. Clearing site data removes them.
• Analytics/cookies: the app itself sets no tracking cookies and makes no measurement API calls.
• Hosting: static files are served over HTTPS; the host may keep standard access logs outside this app's control.
